Speaker setup for my game systems

its 6.1 BOSE speaker system. im curios can a speaker system kill a console? my 2 360's broke pretty fast. first one lasted bout 6 months the 2nd lasted 4 months. my dad was sayn taht if i put it too loud it could fry it! Did that happen or did i have bad luck? i think bad luck but u smart ppl out there can hopefully help me with that. is it safe to use wit my WII or future PS3? o sorry for bad quality it's from my phone 2.0 MP camera [ voir sur Youtube.com ]
