Extend ViewPort with a Spectrum Analyzer Plugin

ViewPort is a powerful development studio for the Parallax Propeller. Now you can extend it by writing your own plugin. This Video shows how you can write a Spectrum Analyzer in about 20 lines of code. The Spectrum Analyzer is then used to measure a signal formed by adding or multiplying two input waves. this is another Home built spectrum analyzer, i used a linear IC instead of diodes. the span is 280 Khz and adjustable from 5 - 8Mhz. IF is 16.6667 crystals. it make use of a standard 20Mhz Scope. a low Frequency scope will also work. [ voir sur Youtube.com ]

The Homebrew 40m Band Scope or a much narrow version of the Spectrum analyzer. it is direct conversion, Used LM555 to produce sawtooth and FM the tuning diode with sawtooth. Connected to X axis is the Sawooth voltage, and the Y axis is then connected to the product detector. [ voir sur Youtube.com ]

Sound data analyzer demo
