Lathe stepper motor software test
Low speed synchronization test of the lathe carriage that is electronically geared to the spindle at 10 threads/inch, using EMC^2 on Linux and a custom HAL module I wrote for it.
The spindle is encoded by a sensor on a gear that has 66 teeth, so it's only 66 cycles/rev. [

EMC Shielding Test 2
AST SmartShield test performed at the AST Barcelona factory. An EMF field generator is used to create a magnetic field. An EMF meter is used to show the field strength with and without the shielding material.
This test relates to the EN norm for exposure to magnetic fields for electronic equipment. [
