My Big Blue Audio Spectrum Analyzer Video 2

This ia another video of the same PIC based spectrum analyzer I built with the lights in the room now turned off. Normally, the unit is in a case with a dark black tinted acrylic window. The blue LED's are so bright that they are saturating the CCD in my video camera. I believe that is why the red colored vertical lines are present in the video. Towards the end, I move the camera back a bit so you can see the display from a distance. [ go to Youtube.com ]

another homebrew SA

this is another Home built spectrum analyzer, i used a linear IC instead of diodes. the span is 280 Khz and adjustable from 5 - 8Mhz. IF is 16.6667 crystals. it make use of a standard 20Mhz Scope. a low Frequency scope will also work. [ go to Youtube.com ]
