me upsetting my neighbours again with my stereo! 4 three way speaker towers each consisting of a 12 inch woofer, midrange and tweeter and a 10 inch subwoofer all speakers are 8 ohms all speaker were made by myself even the stereo cabinet! an onkyo tx 8511 amp driving the 4 speakers and another amp driving the subbie. distortion heard is from the video camera and not the stereo itself. the amp is driving the speakers well but it is still under powering them abit. 1980's Radio Shack stereo with 15" speakers
Testing a stereo that I was cleaning up. It is actually pretty well made, and has 100 watts per channel.
The distortion comes from the microphone in my camera. This was the first time I overpowered it with something. Kind of funny how I turn up the volume on the stereo, but it doesn't get any louder on the recording because of the AGC on the camera. [

Blow Your Speakers
This is what it sounds when an Akai Stereo Reciever is played far too loud.
The speaker is also missing the surround (the thing, usually foam or fabric, that suspends the cone and is mounted between the cone's edge and the driver's frame).
I think someone is talkin, I had it on FM. [
